4/24/2020 0 Comments Fallacy Essay TopicsFallacy Essay TopicsA few years ago when I was looking for argumentative essay topics, I would usually just browse through the directory, and I've now decided to write about an unusual subject: a fallacy essay topic. This was completely unplanned, as in general I am not too fond of fallacy topic essays, but I came up with some quite interesting topics that I thought might work.
My first topic was actually an actual fallacy. This topic was about the idea, 'Old technologies are always superior to new technologies'. It wasn't the idea that was so interesting, it was the fact that I was writing an essay on it. This was my point: while there are many opinions about this, I was going to prove that this isn't the case. And this is what I did. I did a real-world, descriptive essay about a successful new, and old technology, the iPhone. The results were not what I was expecting. I think the best way to show this is to start with a little background. While some people may assume the iPhone to be new technology, it really isn't. Even though it is ten years old, it was still widely used, and has continued to be one of the most popular, and successful gadgets. So, the real fallacy of this argument was to not understand the history of this device. Another fallacy essay topics was about the political system of Israel. As is the case with many countries, some say that Israel is a good country, others say it's horrible. In this case, I was going to be argumentative in my essay about the political system of Israel. In the process, I learned that I had my own opinion about the political system and was indeed more than willing to write about it in a meaningful way. Another ofmy argumentative essay topics was about racism in our society. While I don't necessarily think the American history is perfect, and I have argued that there are many good aspects of American history, it does seem that a lot of Americans have a sense of pride and social responsibility, but still have issues with racism. These topics weren't all that unusual. I was looking for some rare opportunities to talk about these types of subjects, and in the process I discovered some other rare opportunities to discuss these subjects. My final fallacy essay topic was the concept of perfection. It's not often that someone does an argumentative essay on something of this nature, but I found the perfect opportunity to do it. |
